After my evening jog back and forth from my place to the river, I decided to finally pop the “Confucius” DVD (which has been silently waiting for a month) to slip into the player.
Watching this movie based on him totally gives a closer connection with this sage & remarkable man, whose social philosophies further altered the judgment of my approach toward life, prompted greater self-cultivation, embedded new ethical ideals, and inspired new daily etiquette behaviors.
I thought I should share some of my favorite quotes by him with everyone, and hopefully, some will strike a chord in you too.
1. Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.
2. A superior man is modest in his speech, but exceeds in his actions.
